Lexi started school today. She was so ready. She was missing being around other kids. When the teacher opened the door, she was the first one in. She is in Junior Kindergarten. Technically, she could go to Kindergarten, but she is an October baby and we felt it best to give her a little more time. It was a tough decision. But, the teachers at the school don't want the young ones and pressured the parents to wait another year. They know best and what's the rush. She has a lot of years ahead of her. I had so much fun watching her interact with the other kids. I can't wait to come home from work and here about her big day.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I think you just made my day! My little guy will be 4 in October as well and should be going to JK this year too, and after much soul searching and explaining my reasons to many I have decided that the best thing for him and myself is to wait one more year. Next September He will be so ready. It's nice to know I'm not alone in my thinking. Lexi looks adorable for her first day. I hope it was tons of fun!!
