Getting Closer

As some of you know, I have been working on last summers vacation pictures. I have about five more layouts to go before I am done. I may not finish before my next vacation. Which, by the way, happens at the end of the week. I had fun with this layout because I used my new favorite stamp set "Hot Diggity". These are pictures of a bird show that we watched at the Hyatt Regency in Kauai. After the show, they let us hold the birds. They were a little intimidating.

Hello Friend

I couldn't wait to get home from work today and play with my new stamps. I was so good, though, and went to the gym first. I had fun playing with this new stamp from CTMH called "Hot Diggity". This set has so many cute images on it. I want to try the frog next and then that cute little snail. The paper that I used is our new "Splendor" paper pack. The colors in this pack are Goldrush, Topiary and Moonstruck and Heavenly Blue. For the cute little bird, I stamped him twice in Goldrush ink. Then I cut the body out of one of the images and attached it with a pop dot to the other. I did this to give some dimension to him. For my sketch I used this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch #140
