Mojo Monday

It seems that I have been so busy that my Mojo has escaped. I used to be so good at doing the Monday sketches and I am missing them. So, when I came home from work last night I was determined to do the sketch. This card uses an image from Pink Cat Studios and the paper is from Basic Grey.

2010 Christmas Card Challenge #7

This card is for Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge from last Sunday. Where has the week gone? Tomorrow will begin another challenge. I really want to keep up with these challenges so that I will have my Christmas cards ready for next year. The image used is from Pink Cat Studios and is called Reindeer ride. The paper is Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey and the punches are from Martha Stewart. I used Liquid Applique for the pom pom on the hats.

2010 Christmas Card Challenge #5

Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a nice Christmas and a happy New Year. I sure did and am  finally taking down the decorations. Everything looked so pretty and now it is so bare. But, thanks to Sparkle and her challenges I can make Christmas cards all year round. For this card, I used the sketch from Mojo 120. I had fun coloring Itty Bitty Betty Candy Cane Slide from Pink Cat Studio. The patterend paper is Jingle from CTMH and the punch is from Martha Stewart. Sparkle challenged us to use buttons on our card, so I chose these shiny little buttons from CTMH.

2010 Christmas Card Challege Week #4

It's two days after Christmas and I am making Christmas Cards. No, I am not sending my cards out late. I am trying to be early. I joined Sparkle's weekly Holiday Card Challenge. This way I will have my cards ready for next year. For this card, I used "Lily Snowflake Fairy" from Pink Cat Studios. The DP is "Eskimo Kisses" from Basic Grey. Sparkle challenged us to make a card using these cute cupcakes as our inspiration. I liked the blue frosting and the snowflakes. They gave me a chance to ink up Lily. The holiday season has flown by and I have many uninked stamps waiting for me. Thanks to Sparkle, now I have a reason to ink them up.

Mojo Monday #106

It's hard to believed that the Monday Mojo Sketches are up to #106!!! I have a lot of catching up to do. I love this sketch because it allowed me to make a pull out tag. I used my new Digi Stamp from Pink Cat Studio and my new Eerie Paper from Basic Grey. The sentiment stamp is from CTMH's October Word Puzzle.

Mermaid Lily

This little cutie is "Lily on the Beach" from Pink Cat Studios. The weather is very warm here in Northern California this weekend. And, the pool temperature got up to 88 degrees. Last Summer we had Solar Heating put in and it heats it up so quickly. Fortunately there is a shut off point that you can set. Bill is outside floating in the pool with a Diet Coke in one hand and a book in the other. He looks so comfortable. I can see him from my scrapbook room window. I should be out there too, but I wanted to play with my new stamps. The sketch that I used is from Sketch Saturday at All the Scraps.

Another Enchanted Lily Card

I am really loving this stamp set. Instead of cutting Lily out this time, I cut the frog out and put him on a pop dot. I wanted to add the caption "Make a Wish" but it was a kind of hard to make it fit. But, I am still loving this card. Inside it reads "Have a Fairy Nice Day". The sketch is from Splitcoast Stampers, SC218 and the paper is SU.

Enchanted Lily

Good Morning Everyone,
Last night I came home from work to a nice surprise. My "Enchanted Lily's" from Pink Cat Studio's had arrived. After dinner, Lexi and I sat down and made cards. For my card, I used paper from SU called Tea Party. I colored Lily with my Copic Markers and painted her wings with "Pixie Dust" Shimmers. I cut the ovals with my Nestabilities. Lexi used paper from DCWV called "Sweet".

Lilly & Billy

This stamp is a new release from Pink Cat Studio. It is called "Lilly & Billy Sweetheart Stamps." There are so many other adorable stamps that came in this set. I stamped my image first and then colored a little dirt path below the bicycle. I added some grass by making quick little strokes forming an offset "v". Then using a different shade of green, I added more strokes. Once my image was colored, I used a sponge to apply Heavenly Blue ink for the sky. The patterned paper and cardstock are from SU. The sentiment is from CTMH's "Soul Mates" stamp set. I used my Marvy Heart Punch for the scalloped heart. To make the inside of the heart, I used the punch and cut off the scallops. It would have been easier if I had had the smaller punch. So, I just had to make due. I always have to add some kind of bling to my cards, whether it be flowers, ribbons, brads or sparkles. I found this cute little heart sparkle in my embellishment stash.
