Stitch Fix #3 Review

I want to tell you about something that I have signed up for. Three months ago I joined Stitch Fix. If you aren't familiar with them here is what they do. They are an online personalised styling service. You fill out a very detailed profile with your size and style. They show you pictures of different styles and you pick the style you like. You can also link styles from Pinterest. There is someone that I follow on Pinterest and they have been right on target with her style.
They will send you 5 hand picked pieces that all go together. You can pick what you like and send back the rest in a postage paid bag or keep it all. You can tell them how often you want them to ship a package. I chose once a month and get so excited when I get an email telling me that my package is on its way.  Here is how the package comes. It is so much fun to open!

Here are the items that were in the box

I love this Burgundy "Daniel Rainn Blison Pleat Detail Blouse"

They paired it with these Dark Grey "Liverpool Kay Skinny Jeans".
They also sent me this Navy "Blu Pepper Abida Pocket knit top".

They paired it with this Navy "Fate Rowen Faux Leather Quilted Vest".
In addition they sent these Dark Green "SeaVees Monterey Plaid Lace Up Sneakers"

Other than the sneakers, they have done such a good job of matching my taste. In this order, I decided to keep the burgundy top and dark grey jeans. I added a long necklace from Premier Design and my black and tan boots.

Another thing that they do is to send a personalized note
and a card that shows how you can wear these items with pieces that are in your closet.

This is so much fun!!!

Getting my scrapping on with Charlotte

I am having a scrap therapy day today. I am loving this Charlotte kit from CTMH. It not only comes with a paper pack, but picture my life cards, puffy embellishments, stickers, ribbon, and chipboard pieces. The kit that makes  four layouts and cards are here on my CTMHwebsite.http://loriscott.ctmh.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=9067

Here is what you can make with this kit.

If you order from my website, I will email the easy to follow instructions.

A bit late but here's the finished room

It's a bit late but here is the girl's finished bedroom. It was very complicated pulling together a tween and little girls bedroom. But in the end, Lexi got her teal room and Brooke got her pink room. The bedding is from Pottery Barn. and the art on the wall is from Hobby Lobby. In the last picture, Lexi put together these trays from Hobby Lobby to hold her jewelry. We glued votive candle holders to the tray for her earrings.
