Lexi's Preschool class picture

Today we got Lexi's class picture. She is in the second row and is the second on the right. I love the way this picture turned out. The day before pictures were taken, she ran into the fence and it put a mark right above her nose. Jennifer was so worried about the pictures. But you can't even tell.

BSC26 Presentabella

Yippee!!! It's Monday. Most people wouldn't be saying that, especially after a beautiful, sunny weekend and having to go to work. But for me, it's a day where I can look forward to the Bella Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. And, I am finally able to use my new Boom-Di-Ada Creative Basics Paper and rick-rack ribbon. I just love it. This is Presentabella. And she looks so pretty in these colors. Now I just have to figure out who to give this card to....

Silhouette Layouts

Today was my workshop using the Silhouette Paper Packet. I had so much fun with my best friend Jackie and her adorably, sweet daughter Caity, who is now Lexi's new best friend. I was very please with how their layouts turned out. Here they are.

Paper Garden Layout

This is one of my favorite layouts. I saw it on the back of one of my magazines and had to create it immediately. This is my son Ryan holding Lexi. We spent Easter with my family at my neice Yvette's home. When it was time to leave, Lexi didn't want to go. She was having too much fun playing with her cousings and was unhappy to leave. Uncle Ryan scooped her up in his arms and made her laugh on the way out. My sister Lynnette captured this adorable picture of the two of them. I use CTMH Paper Garden paper pack, Friendship Wordpuzzle, and Chipboard Flowers.

Never Grow up Ella and Loo Loo

Here is another of my favorites from Stamping Bella. This is "Never Grow up Ella and Loo Loo". I used my new "Whoopsy Daisy" paper from CTMH. I love the way it turned out. I made this for the Bella Sketch Challenge #25 over Split Coast Stampers. And, I have included a picture of my favorite stamping partner, Lexi. She just loves doing paper crafts.

Google Maps

Check this out. My house is in this map. I don't know if it will bring my house up when you view it. But try it. Its' cool. The even managed to get a picture of my son-in-law Ryan standing on the porch. He said that he remembered when they photographed our street. He said that he saw this large truck that said Google Maps on it drive by and was wondering what it was. LOL.

Other than Close to My Heart, I love the Bella Stamps. Here are some of my favorites.

These two little cuties are "Best Friends Forever". I made this card for my best friend Jackie who I have just reunited with after 35 years!!! We will be Best Friends Forever.

New CTMH Stuff

Look at what the UPS man brought!!!! Just like from the Sound of Music ~ "Brown paper packages tied up with string. These are a few of my favorite things". I always love when the UPS man brings me something. In the box were some things that I ordered from CTMH. I received 4 of the new paper packs: Sarsaparilla, Blue Ribbon, Boom-Di-Ada and my favorite Whoops-A-Daisy. I got the new rick-rack ribbon, the stamp sets: Cottage Floral, Be True, Angel Whispers and the March Word Puzzle. I just love it all. Here is Lexi with it. She gets just as excited as I do when the box comes. She can't wait for me to get home from work, so that she can help open the box and explore it's contents. And, play with my new stamp sets. A girl after my own heart.

Silhouette 2

Here is the second set of layouts that we will do for my workshop. This layout is also from Imagine and is called Bits & Pieces. I had fun with this layout. I threaded ribbon through eyelets to create the bows on both pages. I just love that girly kind of stuff. I also used red sparkles in some of the flowers, just to add a little bit of red to the layout. The dangling flower in the top left corner and on the white mat on the right side are cut out of the B&T paper.

Silhouette

Here is one of the layouts that we will be making at my workshop next Saturday. The layout on the left was taken from the cover of the Spring 2000 Idea Book. The complete layout is from Imagine and is called Serenade. The paper is Silhouette and the stamp set is Make it count. I don't know if you can tell, but the little flowers inside of the large white flowers are actually cut out of the B&T paper and then sponged. I left out the title on the top of the left page, so that my guests could create their own. One lady is going to use her layouts for her daughters prom. I think that the theme of the prom would be nice for a title.

Both of these cards use Pun Fun by SU. My friend Jeannie who is a SU consultant gave me the wheel to do the background. I had fun coloring in the the circles in stars with my Copic Markers

Jeepy Girl

Here is a card that I made for the Bella Sketch Challenge over at SCS. This is Jeepy Girl. The sentiment is a new stamp of the month set from CTMH called Todays Date. The paper is also from CTMH and is Precious Paisleys. I think that this would make a cute birthday card for Lexi to give to one of her little friends.

It is taking awhile for me to get used to blogging. But here are a couple of cards that I made today. Kayden's dress is stamped in Blush ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I then rubbed odorless mineral spirits over the image. I used my new nestabillities for the circle and scallop. The paper is Nana's Nursery from DCWV.
Lattebella is colored with Copic markers. The paper is CTMH More too Adore.
