Seasons of Joy

A friend sent me a picture of a card that she saw in the store and asked if I could make one like it. So, I went to my Cricut and loaded the Seasons of Joy Digital Cartridge and was able to make a card that was 10 times better than the store bought card.

Happy 80th Birthday

A friend asked me to make an 80th birthday card for her mother. Talk about the pressure! I put sway too much pressure on myself. I wanted to make the perfect card and struggled with that. Here is a card that I am finally happy with.

All items are from Close to My Heart. The flowers are from the Beautiful You stamp set. The rose colors are Poppy and Peach. The leaves are Sage, Fern and New England Ivy. The paper is from the Charlotte paper. And I cut the 80 out of gold glitter paper on the Cricut.

Don We Now Our Ugly Sweaters

"Don we now our ugly sweaters...Fa lal lal la la la la la..." Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving and had plenty of turkey and stuffing. I sure did!!! Now it's time to get into the Christmas spirit...Hear me singing "Fa lal lal la la la la la". I used to go Christmas caroling when I was younger and this was my favorite song to sing. I have never been interested in Ugly Sweaters but I decided to order this stamp set for my card workshop and my ladies loved it! Funny thing, but I swear that I had this exact sweater in the 80's and didn't think anything of it. LOL!!!
