Layout of Emma

Mission Accomplished!!! I set out at 6:30 a.m. with hopes and dreams of getting a lot of scrapbooking done today. Ahh...A holiday....the whole day off....nothing to do...but scrapbook.....Had I only known.....that I was going to have Lexi for the whole day. When I heard that sweet little voice announce at 7:00 "Excuuuuse me. I'm ready to get up", I might have let her mother get her up and take her into her bedroom. But, no. Being the nice Bacca (grandma) that I am, I went and got her up and brought her downstairs with me. So the day began with me trying to come up with a layout, while helping Lexi, cut my special CTMH Ribbon for her layout, and then coming up with an alternate for glue dots, for the baubles on her layout, when we ran out. Then cleaning the baubles off the floor when the container got knocked over. Then a trip to the gym and to Walmart....never take a 3 almost 4 year old into a store that entices you with junk food the moment you walk into the store.....don't do it, ever. I love my dear Lexi very much. But I am not used to taking care of her all day. I go to work and sit behind a desk for 9 hours, and then come home and enjoy her. A whole day is a long day when you are not used to it. Can you believe that my retired husband watches her when Jennifer works? I give him a lot of credit. Well, anyway, back to the layout. Her dad picked her up at 4:30 and I was able to finish. This layout is of my great-niece Emma. She is Vicki's grand daughter. Also, in the picture is Vicki's daughter, Brittany. I am trying to use up some of the CTMH paper that has been accumulating in my drawer. I am forcing myself to do that, because I am finding that my collection is getting too large. But, I love this paper with Emma's red outfit. Isn't she a doll? I had to include the picture of her cute little bootie with the apple on the back of her shorts. Way too cute.

The paper is CTMH's "Let's Get Together".
